SUBJECT: NOTICE OF 59th COMMISSION MEETING A meeting of the Southwestern Low-Level Radioactive Waste Commission will be held on Friday, April 30, 2010 beginning at 0930 hrs at The Lodge at Deadwood, 100 Pine Crest Ln, Deadwood, SD 57732. Phone 605 584 4800, FAX 605 571 2100 The agenda follows. Members of the public are invited to attend the meeting. The public is invited to comment on specific agenda items as the Commission considers them. The total public comment time on each agenda item will be limited to 15 minutes. Persons wishing to address the Commission will be asked to complete a registration card and to limit oral comments to approximately three minutes. Written material also will be accepted. A 15-minute public comment period will be available near the end of the meeting at which time members of the public may bring before the Commission issues relating to low-level radioactive waste but which were not on the agenda. Each speaker will be asked to limit comments to three minutes. Persons who desire further information regarding the meeting should contact me at the above listed telephone number or E-mail address. A person with a disability who requires an agenda in an appropriate alternative format or a modification or accommodations, including auxiliary aids or services to attend the meeting, should contact me as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
